The Wayne State University women's tennis team is set to travel to Bowling Green State University for the Hidden Duals event, scheduled for September 26-27.
Last week, the Warriors began their 2025-26 season at the Charger's Fall Invitational hosted by Hillsdale College. The team recorded an 11-8 record in singles matches and a 5-4 record in doubles play. Justine Beaulieu from Montreal was the standout performer, winning her singles draw with a perfect 3-0 record and posting a 2-1 mark in doubles alongside Martyna Szpakowska of Gdansk. Malak Arafat (Alexandria), Shantala Uzcategui (Hoyo de La Puerta), and Shanice Weekes (London) each finished singles competition with two wins and one loss.
At this weekend's Hidden Duals, Wayne State will compete against Butler University, the University of Findlay, and host Bowling Green State University. On Friday, WSU faces Butler in singles at 11:00 AM, followed by Findlay at 1:00 PM, and wraps up with a doubles match against Findlay at 4:30 PM. Saturday’s schedule includes doubles matches versus Butler at 10:00 AM and Bowling Green at 11:00 AM. The event concludes with singles matches against BGSU at 3:00 PM.
