The Wayne State University men's golf team will participate in the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of Findlay, on Monday and Tuesday. The event will take place at Findlay Country Club and marks the team's fourth tournament in the fall segment of their 2025-26 schedule.

Head coach Mike Horn commented on the significance of this tournament for the team. "This is a big event for us to finish off the bulk of our schedule," Horn said. "We will be facing a lot of teams that made the tournament last year, including Findlay, UMSL, Ashland, and also Hillsdale, who we lost to earlier in the year. We had a really good day of practice and the guys are very focused on making sure we improve our positioning within the region. I'm looking for a great performance from all six guys. Tomorrow will be a long day, but I think we will execute well and be consistent."

The Warriors' starting lineup includes Andrew Daily from Brighton, Michigan; Jack Julian from South Lyon, Michigan; Josh Lahner from Roselle, Illinois; Troy Chapman from Lexington, Ohio; and Will Pollack from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Harrison Chapman from Marshall, Michigan will compete as an individual.

The field consists of 17 teams: Ashland, Carson-Newman, Cedarville, Ferris State, Findlay (with three squads), Hillsdale, Malone, Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), Northwood, Saginaw Valley State, Thomas More, Tiffin, UIndy (University of Indianapolis), Walsh, and Wayne State. A total of 90 players are scheduled to begin play with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Monday.
