Luis Klaus and Harry Forsyth of Wayne State University's men's tennis team are set to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup, which will take place at the Rome Tennis Center in Mount Berry, Georgia, from October 16 to October 19.

In their most recent competition, the Wayne State team took part in the ITA Midwest Regional Championships. The team recorded a combined singles record of 20-10, while their doubles teams finished with a 10-6 record. Sophomore Benjamin Hill won the Singles B Draw title with a 6-0 performance over the weekend. In doubles, Klaus and Forsyth reached the final of the A Draw but were defeated by a team from Grand Valley State University. Their performance earned them an at-large bid to the ITA Cup.

Klaus and Forsyth are scheduled to play against Soeren Grandke and Mathys Pinoit of Azusa Pacific University on Thursday, October 16, at 4:00 PM. The Wayne State duo is one of two doubles teams representing the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) at the tournament. Patricio Sepulveda and Bora Bakici of Grand Valley State received an automatic bid after winning the ITA Midwest Regional.
