Wayne State’s Forsyth and Klaus secure win on final day of ITA Cup

Wayne State University men's tennis players Harry Forsyth and Luis Klaus concluded their participation at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup in Rome, Georgia, on Saturday, October 18.

Forsyth and Klaus faced defeats in their opening two matches. On Thursday, they lost 7-5, 6-4, followed by a close match on Friday with a score of 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.

On the third day of competition, the Wayne State pair played against Germano Setti and Matthew Earle from Midwestern State University. Forsyth and Klaus secured a win with a score of 6-4, 6-4.

Looking ahead, Forsyth, Klaus, and the rest of the Wayne State men's tennis team are scheduled to compete at Cleveland State University's Viking Invitational starting Friday, October 24. The three-day tournament will be held at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
