On Sunday, April 6, former Salem High School standout Owen Anderson’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.

The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. at Lenda and Glenda Hill Stadium and TFO Partners Field against Hillsdale Chargers.
