Freshman Ting-Yu Kuo from Wayne State University’s women’s golf team continued her performance at the NCAA Championship Finals in Boulder City, Nevada. On Wednesday, she recorded another one-over 73 during the second round of the tournament. With a total score of 146 (+2) over two days, Kuo is currently tied for 36th place among a field of 95 players. The final round will see Kuo teeing off at 10:10 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday.

Kuo’s second day on the course was more eventful compared to Tuesday, where she only had two non-par holes. On Wednesday, she bogeyed holes one, three, eight, nine, and 14 while securing birdies on holes two, 10, 13, and 16.

Leading the competition is Madison Murr from California State San Marcos with an impressive score of 11 under par. Murr’s performance included an eight-under 64 in the second round following her first-round score of 69, bringing her total to 133 over two days.

In terms of team standings heading into match play, California State San Marcos leads followed by Dallas Baptist and Anderson. Other teams advancing include Flagler, Findlay, West Texas A&M, Wingate (tied), Henderson State (tied), Central Missouri (tied), and CSU East Bay (tied).
