Wayne State University’s volleyball program, led by head coach Tim Koth, will conduct four camps in July. The camps are designed for various skill levels and age groups.
The Introductory/Intermediate Skills Camp is scheduled for July 14. It welcomes participants from grades 1 to 8 of all genders. The camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals of volleyball, with instruction provided by WSU staff and players. Participants will receive a WSU Volleyball t-shirt and pizza for lunch. Early registration costs $80, while walk-up registration is $100.
On July 15, the Advanced Skills Camp will take place. This camp targets advanced players from grades 7 to 12 who have club experience. Attendees will engage in sessions that cover advanced skills under the guidance of WSU staff and players. A t-shirt and pizza lunch are included. The early registration fee is $100, with walk-up registration priced at $120.
The Warrior Prospect Clinic is set for July 16 and is aimed at female athletes entering grades 10 to 12 with elite club-level experience. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the Warrior coaching staff during a single session that includes a Q&A segment, a facilities tour, and a t-shirt. Registration costs $75.
Finally, the Team Train and Play Camp will be held on July 17-18 for high school teams consisting of female athletes. Mornings will involve training sessions with WSU staff and players, while afternoons are reserved for live play.
