On Friday, April 4, former Salem High School standout Zacarias Salinas’ current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wichita State Shockers.
The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Shockers this season.
The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 4 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
Four Wayne State men’s tennis athletes have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for their achievements on court and academically during the past season. The honorees include Luis Klaus, Benjamin Hill, George Day, and Tom Wasner.
