Wayne State University cross country set for Northwood Invitational

DETROIT -- The 2024 Cross Country season commences as Wayne State University travels to Midland, Michigan, for the Fifth Annual Northwood Invitational. The Warriors will be represented in both men's and women's events.

Wayne State volleyball opens season with Warrior Invitational matches

Wayne State University's volleyball team is set to begin its season with the Warrior Invitational, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Matthaei. The Warriors will compete against Frostburg State at 1 p.m. and Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on September 6, followed by a match against Ohio Dominican at 4 p.m. on September 7.

Graduate students bolster Wayne State's football program

Wayne State University and Ferris State are the only two schools in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) to have submitted a list of graduate students to the National Football Foundation (NFF). Wayne State has six graduate students on its football roster for this year. These students include Kaleb Coleman, Jordan Lewis, Griffin Milovanski, Jeremy Taras, Brayden Vredeveld, and Carl Ware. They are pursuing advanced degrees in various fields such as Exercise and Sport Science, Management, and Marketing.
