City of Livonia issued the following announcement on Oct 21.
The City of Livonia Clerk’s Office will be open for election business only on Monday, Nov. 1 and Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Friday, Oct. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Last day to request a ballot by mail
Saturday, Oct. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Open for election purposes, voter registrations and in-person absentee ballots
Monday, Nov. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election business ONLY. Open for voter registration. The deadline to spoil an absentee ballot is 10 a.m. The deadline to request an absentee ballot in person is 4 p.m. The ballot must be voted onsite and returned in ballot dropbox. An absentee ballot cannot leave the building.
Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Polls open with voting at precincts only - 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Same-day new voter registration at City Hall - 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
They will resume all other business on Wednesday, Nov. 3, during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
