Town of Canton issued the following announcement on Dec 29.
Friendly reminder, there will be no New Year’s collection delay this week. GFL will be picking up garbage and recycling Monday-Friday.
Please note, GFL will only offer curb-side pick-up of natural Christmas trees from January 3-14. Please place your tree at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on your regular refuse collection day with all stands, lights and ornaments removed. After January 14, trees will no longer be accepted at the curb.
