State of the City Highlight: Mobility
The future of mobility is happening right here in Detroit after landing a $2.2 billion investment from GM for its first all-electric factory in the US. In addition, the city secured Google's Waymo to assemble its self-driving cars, and Ford Motor Company’s new location will be designing the vehicles of tomorrow, bringing 5,000 jobs to the city.
And soon, 14th Street will be America's first public charging road, and Michigan Avenue will be Detroit's first autonomous car lane, running to Ann Arbor. #DETSOTC23
