“What’s more important to me than getting these locks out is people using them,” Chief White said during our bi-weekly Walk A Mile Wednesdays in the community.
Our team walked within our 4th precinct, meeting with residents and passing out gun locks.
“So we can pass them out all day long but you got to take that 30-45 seconds and secure your weapon," Chief added. "Guns get us into more trouble than they get us out of. If you have a gun, you have a tremendous responsibility to secure them properly.”
