Throughout the holiday season, we have seen horrible acts of violence towards our residents. Many of those acts involved firearms used illegally by violent offenders.
Instead of illegal and dangerous celebratory gunfire, (a violation of the City of Detroit Ordinance, Sec. 31-13-25), let’s spend time with loved ones and start the year 2023 off knowing that the men and women of the Detroit Police Department are committed to solving crime and keeping everyone safe. Use bells not bullets.
