The Wayne State University women's tennis team faced a narrow defeat against Tiffin University in Detroit. The match, held at the Duchene Athletic Facility, ended with a 4-3 scoreline in favor of Tiffin. This was Wayne State's first home game after their Spring Break trip to Florida.

Anais Ruyssen and Marta Komar fell 7-5, while Malak Arafat and Martyna Szpakowska lost 6-4. However, Shanice Weekes and Justine Beaulieu claimed a victory with a 6-4 win.
In singles play, both teams won three matches each. Komar and Dea Gorgidze won in straight sets for Wayne State, while Weekes made a comeback to secure her match in three sets. Ruyssen experienced consecutive losses against Maeva Maxch.
The second and fourth singles positions required three sets to determine winners. Arafat managed a win in one set but ultimately lost her match. Szpakowska also saw her unbeaten streak end after losing two of three sets.
